Keynoter Business Spotlight
The Tackle Box, across
U.S.1 from the U.S. Coast Guard station in Marathon,
has been a Middle Keys fixture for years. And
Dave Still, a former Atlanta resident who bought it
last fall, aims to keep it that way.
"We go the extra mile," he said. "Free
delivery, extra hours, whatever anyone needs."
The Tackle Box is a full service bait and tackle,
offering everything from charters and bait, rods and
reels, clothing and accessories.
One of its prime products is its Triple D lures,
which come in 6-inch and 9-inch models, and 10 color
combinations.
It's more than just the merchandise that will help
you make the best of your day on the water.
It's the personal service.
On a recent morning, Still and Drake were preparing
a United Kingdom group for a charter, prepping the
reels with line and getting the the bait and
everything else they needed before heading out.
And the charters are varied, from offshore for
dolphin, wahoo, billfish and tuna to the flats for
bonefish, tarpon and permit.
